Composition |


Bruch a écrit la seconde symphonie en 1870, deux ans après la première symphonie. Le succès de cette dernière avait incité Bruch de composer une nouvelle symphonie.

L'œuvre est en trois mouvements :



  1. Allegro appassionato, ma un poco maestoso, en fa mineur, à 9

  2. Adagio ma non troppo, en mi bémol majeur, à 4/4


  3. Allegro molto tranquillo, en fa majeur, à 4/4
