I am compiling with a MacTex installation with packages managed by TexLive. There is a bug in the tcolorbox package that has been fixed in the latest release; v 4.20. I am in fairly urgent need of that bug fix, but as far as I can tell none of the TexLive repositories have been updated since 2/16/2019. tcolorbox 4.20 was posted to CTAN on 3/2/2019. While I realize MikTex for Windows repositories have been updated in April for these same sites, I only have limited access to a Windows machine.
Having said all that I have downloaded the tcolorbox 4.20 .zip file from CTAN. Can anyone tell me where I can extract the contents so that when I compile a .tex file that uses the tcolorbox package it uses v4.20 not v4.15? I have tried removing tcolorbox v4.15 through the TexLive Utility but it throws an error stating the removal was unsuccessful.
Thank you in advance.
- Phil
